Assists Product Marketing Manager(s) with assigned product portfolio: Responsible for tactical activities supporting Ply Gem’s mission and vision statements, Ply Gem’s strategic priorities and marketing goals specifically focused on product strategies, portfolio management, marketplace investigation, and sales trend analysis across designated product lines. These activities include administering and coordinating day-to-day actions to gather/share/learn new information, provide data/tools/processes to achieve Ply Gem’s goals in support of our internal and external customers and other stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum of two years of business experience preferably in the building products industry (including but not limited to sales, marketing, technical, supply chain or operations). Experience with similar customer base preferred (distributors, home centers, builders, suppliers). Manufacturing project management experience preferred.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills required. Problem solving orientation required. Position requires analytical, planning, and presentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required. Ability to influence and drive organization toward agreement and timely implementation of project goals and deliverables. Minimal but periodic travel required.
Position requires occasion travel (estimated as 10-15%).
