    Responsibilities

    About Territory Sales Manager:

     

    The opening for Territory Sales Manager for Ply Gem Windows and representing the Simonton brand will be covering the Northeast market and ideally residing in the NJ area.  This is a home office based position. 

     

    This position is responsible for developing, leading and executing in the following areas:

    • Increase sales volume and gain share within the store.
    • Conduct Product Knowledge classes with store associates.
    • Solicit and conduct meetings with store associates to keep them informed of the latest developments within Simonton and its product lines
    • Build relationships at multiple levels inside the store
    • Work proactively with Pro Desk in training of all sales people.
    • Conduct joint jobsite sales calls on contractors along with Big Box store associates
    • Work with the store for advantages for Simonton Windows at the store and District level.
    • Review and analyze SIS (Simonton Information System) on a weekly basis to be aware of customer activity and performance
    • Visit each store a prescribed numbers of times during the quarter
    • Maintain adequate supplies of all available sales literature, sales tools, and properly use all selling and marketing aids
    • Report marketing activities, sales opportunities, and competitive strategy back to National Account Manager
    • Prepare forecast of anticipated sales volume and demonstrate the understanding of reasoning behind the forecast.
    • 60% travel as required

    Qualifications

    What skills/experience are needed?

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline is preferred
    • Some Outside sales experience is preferred
    • Strong personal motivation.
