The Director- Product Marketing ensures that present and future products are taken to market in the most efficient and effective manner, always striving to improve volume and profitability, while maintaining maximum goodwill with the customer.
As a key marketing management position, leads the strategic planning and budget development for the entire portfolio of designated division products. Actively serves on the marketing management team participating in establishing, planning, approving, revising, and complementing overall corporate strategies, policies, and objectives.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.
Minimum of ten years of marketing/marketing management experience. Experience in the building products and home center industry preferred. Experience with comparable customer base desired. Must possess a minimum of ten years of progressive leadership experience, including recruitment, staff development, performance management, and proven results of management and administrative effectiveness for a staff of significant size.
Highly developed oral and written communication skills required. Ability to develop and present marketing presentations required. Professional analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills required. Proficiency in applicable PC/software packages required. Effective in analysis and presentation of marketing data required. Ability to create and gain buy-in to strategic vision for product lines.
Position requires moderate travel (30%).
