  • Overview

    Dependent upon business unit, works independently to supervise installed job site projects, including, but not limited to, monitoring installation quality, ensuring proper equipment and material on job site and project readiness for install. As well as, be the primary contact for builder and/or builder superintendent and sales team.

    Responsibilities

    1. Measuring projects for field take offs to determine total material needed for project(s).

     

    1. Schedule upcoming projects & work load for installation and repair crews.

     

    1. Ensure job site is ready for installation.

     

    1. Job-site material and equipment management.

     

    1. Monitor job site safety as it relates to the installation crews.

     

    1. Supervise install crews in the field and organizational skills as applicable.

     

    1. Oversight of project quality control.

     

    1. Utilize scheduling management system used by builders.

     

    1. Provide current best building practices information to Installation Crews when necessary.

     

    1. Builds strong relationships with customer Superintendents and project managers and trains them on products and services to better facilitate the delivery of our turn-key service.

     

    1. Assist with difficult customer situations.

     

    1. Light repair work required if needed.

    Qualifications

    Education

     

                           High school diploma or extensive building background with a minimum of three years’ experience in residential and/or commercial construction or a combination of both. 

     

    Experience

    Working knowledge: individual should show a sufficient ability understand stone install; their form and function, terminology and basic applications, while recognizing potential issues regarding new product lines or changes in existing products.  Should be knowledgeable of best practice of installation.

     

    General knowledge: individual should have basic problem solving skills with a simple approach that can be conveyed to any individual encountered while in this position, (i.e. builders, builder superintendents, building inspection officials and homeowners).

     

    Thorough knowledge: individual should be thoroughly able to provide on-site direction and off-site training of basic skills for applicable product line (stucco and masonry skills)

     

    Skills/Abilities

    May be required to have general knowledge of Excel, Word, and basic communication skills with current electronic telephone equipment.  Must be able to read & understand blueprints, construction details, scopes of work and rudimentary construction requirements.

     

    This position requires limited office and outdoor experience.  Construction site visits often requiring the use of specific safety devices while possibly enduring hazardous situations, materials, high noise levels and extreme heat/cold. May be required to climb ladders, scaffolding & inclined sloped roofs. Safely negotiate active job sites & occasionally provide hands on assistance when necessary. Should be able to safely lift 150 pounds. Position may require weekend work and work days in excess of eight hours.
