    Mechanically proficient technician providing focused, competent maintenance support while demonstrating technical expertise in a specific, specialized mechanical maintenance function.   Electrical Maintenace Experience is required






    Mechanically proficient technician providng maintenance support while demonstrating technical expertise as a highly developed trouble shooting electrical/licensed electrician.


    Maintain the responsibilities and performance requirements within all fields of the maintenance team.


    Demonstrates technical engineering expertise and utilizes root cause analysis method. Trained on all electrical hazards and advocaes for electrical safety programs.


    Familiar with National electrial code  (NFPA 79) and ensures adherence to electrical installations. 


    Ability to troubleshoot issues of intermediate complexity in advanced electical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC).  Diagnose PLC and HMI programs (load and modify). 


    Understand the priciples of circuit interruption, switch functions and trip curves of circuit breakers, components of a switchgear assembly and related preventive maintenence requirements.


    Understand functions, components, and  inspection of high voltage distribution  system.


    Test and perform preventive maintenance on low voltage circuit breakers.


    Perform maintenance on air magnetic and oil circuit breakers


    Trouble shoot, inspect and clean components in motor controllers




    Education:        High school graduate/GED supplemented by technical school or formal apprenticeship in electrical and mechanical maintenance theory and application.


    Experience:      Minimum of four years of maintenance experience; at least two years of which must have been in mechanical and electrical maintenance.


    Knowledge: Must be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties require. Knowledge of basic preventive maintenance scheduling and implementation required. Knowledge of  electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and basic carpentry and tooling. Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations pertaining to equipment.


    Safety: Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals. Comply with all legislative requirements as outlined by Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
