  • Overview

    Due to recent acquisitions and continued business growth, we’re adding to our Finance team!


    The cost accountant position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints and projects, target costing projects, financial analysis, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, assist with inventory management, balance sheet review and consolidation, tracing costs back to underlying activities and assist in corporate month and year end reporting and budgeting.


    Data Collection & Analysis

    1. Cost of Goods Sold account analysis and variance reporting
    2. Process construction and refinement for efficiency and accuracy
    3. Report and investigate monthly variances
    4. Material analysis as needed
    5. Support Quality department in monthly reporting
    6. Other analysis as required


    1. Plant inventory analysis to determine cost updates
    2. Obsolescence Reporting and inventory write off approval analysis
    3. Perform cycle count and investigate variances as required

    Financial Analysis

    1. Facilitates the monthly closing process
    2. Assist in Quality and Plant reporting
    3. Assist in Capital Asset Request analysis
    4. Assist in Bill-of-Material updating and Standard cost revaluation
    5. Product costing
    6. Assist assigned departments develop and maintain annual budget
    7. Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP requirements are met in all reporting functions performed

    This position will require light travel and perform other duties as assigned on an ad hoc/permanent basis and provide support for plant controllers during vacation and other times as needed.



    Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline



    Preferred two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Extensive use of excel and data manipulation desired
