    Due to recent acquisitions and continued business growth, we’re adding to our Finance team!


    Oversees multiple plant controllers in the analysis of manufacturing costs to assist leadership in determining the root causes for deviation from forecasts and plans, and determines courses of action to address deviations; ensures generally accepted accounting practices and company policies are adhered to; maintains accounting controls for materials, work-in-progress and finished goods inventories; provides budgetary planning and determination of profit/loss including inventory valuation; and supports process improvement within the operations accounting group.


    1. Assists in establishing standard procedures and ensuring compliance with those procedures.
    2. Assists with improving processes for multiple plant controllers at manufacturing sites nationwide.
    3. Reviews and approves journal entries and account reconciliations. Maintains month end checklists and consolidates month end variance reporting.
    4. Performs regular audits of all accounting control functions.
    5. Prepares reports for the Director, Operations Accounting.
    6. Maintains due diligence, analyzes changes, etc. and addresses potential issues or abnormalities.  As required.
    7. Participates as a finance management team member and supports corporate goals.  Provides education and training to teams as appropriate.
    8. Analyzes production data and reports results of weekly production data.  Reports/graphs trends on production data as appropriate.
    9. Facilitates month end close process.
    10. Performs other duties as assigned.



    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience. CPA/CMA or equivalent designation desired.



    Minimum of six years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.



    Effective analytical and communication skills.  Ability to play a true team member role with other key plant leadership and finance members.



    Position requires moderate travel. (approx. 25%). Expected to visit manufacturing facilities across the country on a regular basis. Approximately one week out of the month regularly. Occasionally more.
