Assists Product Manager in overall management of assigned product portfolio: product life cycle management, marketplace investigation, new product launches, sales trend analysis, product rationalization, internal and external customer support. Works closely with members of the marketing department, sales, sales support, finance, engineering, R&D, logistics and manufacturing to ensure continuity in product portfolio and company goals. Performs day to day activities to help achieve desired strategic direction.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or comparable discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of project management, marketing or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, required.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills required. Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation required. Ability to analyze data, provide solutions and present marketing data. Proficient with PCs, Excel and PowerPoint required. Ability to create, and gain buy-in to strategic vision for assigned product lines. Proven ability to influence and drive organization toward agreement and timely implementation of agreed to activities. An attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.
Position requires moderate travel (10-15%)
